Club Week - Tuesday the 5th August 2008

Monday to Wednesday will be entirely devoted to Cadet training and playing games.

All boats will be off the water by 16.00 each day and cadets, parents and volunteers are expected to help put their boats away after use.

Training 10.00 - 13.00

There will be 4 groups:

Tadpoles

These are those up to 7yrs (Need parents, guardians or friends to supervise)

Dolphins

These are beginners to sailing

Barracudas

Those who have completed or are undertaking Stage 1 - 2 and stage 3 - 4

Sharks

These are Senior Cadets and will be taught racing techniques by Marcus Lynch, top RYA coach.

Games 14.00 - 16.00

Teams will be picked from the different age groups to take part in the following Water-based sports:

• Coke race
• Ice cream cruise to the harbour
• Relay races
• Beach Olympics
• Rowing races
• Playing on the Inflatables
• Battleships
• Chubbie bunnies
